About me

Silvia: Hi, I’m Silvia. I’ve been working as a professional Slovak teacher for foreigners for 12 years.
Adam: Hi, I’m Adam and I would like to learn Slovak. Could you help me?
Silvia: Of course. What is it exactly that you need?
Adam: I came to Košice two months ago and I need to learn Slovak because of my job. I only know a few words… What could you offer?
Silvia: …understood… I could offer you individual or group lessons, I can teach you through dialogues, songs, games or role plays and I often use interactive activities.
Adam: That´s great! But why should I choose you?
Silvia: Because I am a qualified teacher who prepared many of my materials myself. I still use books but I mostly teach by using cards, games, newspapers and alike. After a couple of lessons you will be able to speak to people in the street, in restaurants, shops, at the airport, in health centres, at university, at work or even at the post office… I’ll do my best.

ECL Certificate

ECL “European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages” is a language test system developed by experts from the international consortium in London with the support of the European Union. This is a unified language test system for the languages of the European Union.

I offer preparation for the ECL exam in Slovak language.

The ECL exam in Slovak language tests oral and written ability to use the language of everyday discourse on practical, professional and personal topics at varying degrees of complexity, from A2 to C1.
